1.21 Beta
In beta
Kosshi 1.21 adds a Trash that keeps deleted rows for 30 days. Workspaces let you save the current screen and switch between them. Search now also finds text inside images.
Trash
Deleted rows are no longer removed right away. They are kept in the Trash for 30 days. To open the Trash, choose Recently Deleted from the … menu.
With the way CloudKit sync works, a deletion has no time attached. Even if you undid a deletion, the deletion could arrive later and remove the row. Deleted rows are now kept for 30 days, which prevents this problem when you undo or restore.
Only rows deleted in 1.21 or later go to the Trash. On a device still running 1.20, rows deleted in 1.21 still appear as normal rows, so update all your devices. See Trash in the beta guide for details.
Workspaces
When you work on several projects at once, you may want to keep a layout such as split panes. Save the layout as a Workspace, and you can switch between Workspaces as you work.
Choose Save Workspace from the … menu. Switch with the name at the bottom left of the sidebar, or with Ctrl+Tab. Workspaces are stored on each device and are not synced.
Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab used to move between panes. They now switch Workspaces. To move between panes, use Ctrl+Cmd+] and Ctrl+Cmd+[. See Workspaces in the beta guide for details.
Search Text in Images
Search now finds text inside attached images. Matching words are highlighted on the image.
Internal Link Preview on Hover
Hold the pointer over an internal link to see the destination row and its parents.
Dates in Text
Dates written as YYYY-MM-DD are now recognized without an @tag. They appear in the sidebar's Dates section and match date: searches.
Only the ISO format is recognized. You can turn this off in Settings > Editing > Date Input.
Sidebar
Bookmarks and saved searches can now be reordered by dragging. #tags and @tags can now be shown or hidden separately.
Find Action
Settings can now be changed directly from Find Action.
