This guide is for 1.21 Beta. The released version is 1.20.

Saved Searches

Save a search that you use often, then reopen it with its conditions from the sidebar.

Open a saved date:today search to see today's tasks across dated tags.

Save a Search

  1. Search the outline or add search conditions
  2. Select the bookmark icon beside the active search conditions
  3. The saved search appears in the sidebar

Select it in the sidebar to apply the same query and return to the saved zoom location. You can also run saved searches from the Action palette.

Saved searches can act as simple task or project views. For example, save date:today for today’s tasks, date:this-week for this week’s items, or a tag query for one project.

Choose Show Count from a saved search’s context menu to show the current number of matching rows beside it in the sidebar. You can check the count without opening the search, and it updates as the outline changes.

Rename or Delete

Right-click a saved search on Mac, or touch and hold it on iPhone, to rename or delete it.

Saved searches sync between your devices when iCloud sync is enabled.
