Palettes

Three palettes let you move rows, navigate the outline, and jump to bookmarked rows from the keyboard. To run any command by name, see Find Action.

Move to Palette

Press Cmd+Shift+M to open the Move to palette. Type to fuzzy-search for a destination row, then move the selected row(s) there.

Home appears as a destination. Choose it to move the selected rows to the document root. Use the position control to place them at the beginning or end of the destination.

Press Enter to move the selected row(s) to the destination.

On macOS, press Cmd+Enter to move the rows and open the destination in a new window.

Find Palette

Press Cmd+Shift+F to open the Find palette. It shows the outline hierarchy so you can jump to any row. Home appears at the top of the list.

Press Enter to open the selection in the current window. Right-click a result or press Ctrl+Enter to choose how to open it (current window, beside, below, new window, and so on). Cmd+Enter opens it in a new window.

This is different from Cmd+F, which searches for text within rows. The Find palette is for navigating structure. See Find and Replace for text search and filters.

You can drag rows from the preview pane into the main editor.

Press Cmd+D while a result is selected to toggle its bookmark.

Bookmarks Palette

Press Cmd+Shift+B to open a list containing only bookmarked rows. Press Enter to open a row, or Cmd+D to remove its bookmark.

On macOS, right-click a result or press Ctrl+Enter to choose how to open it. Cmd+Enter opens it in a new window.
