Windows

Window features are available on macOS. Every window displays the same outline, and edits stay in sync between open windows.

Open another section in a separate macOS window.

Opening Windows

  • Press Cmd+N or choose File > New Window to open another window
  • Choose Open in New Window from a row or sidebar context menu to open a window zoomed into that row
  • In the Move to, Find, and Bookmarks palettes, select a row and press Enter to move or open it in the current window
  • In the Find and Bookmarks palettes, right-click a result or press Ctrl+Enter to choose how to open it (current window, beside, below, new window, and so on)
  • Cmd+Enter opens the selection in a new window. In the Move to palette, the rows are moved to the destination first, then that destination opens in a new window

You can drag rows between windows. The row and all of its descendants move together.

Window Tabs

Kosshi uses the standard macOS window tab interface. Choose Window > Merge All Windows to combine open windows into tabs. The tab title follows the section each window is displaying.

Use the standard commands in the Window menu to move a tab to a new window or show the tab bar.

Keep on Top

Choose Window > Keep on Top to keep the current Kosshi window above other windows. Choose it again to return the window to normal behavior.
